PSYCHOTHERAPY helps people enjoy full and independent lives by working through the problems that keep recurring in spite of efforts to resolve them by other means. Some problems dealt with in psychotherapy are:

- Trauma, such as accidents, major surgery, rape, and sexual abuse
COUNSELING helps you to achieve specific goals and acquire effective psychological tools to use when problems arise in life. It is time-limited and focuses on solutions by sorting through conflicting feelings, determining the nature of a problem, and initiating positive change.
RECOVERY WORK: I work with people in Recovery from all kinds of compulsive behaviors, (including alcohol, drugs, gambling, and eating disorders). I help those in relationships with addicts to recognize, respond, and cope.
